Lindsey Wosepka, MOTR/L, DRS is an experienced occupational therapist, driving rehabilitation specialist, and owner of On the Road, LLC. She provides the only door to door driving rehabilitation service in South Dakota serving Rapid City and surrounding areas including Hot Springs, Custer, Sturgis, Spearfish, and Box Elder. Her focus is to help people remain driving safely for as long as possible.
For over 16 years, Lindsey has been working as an OT in a variety of settings including inpatient acute, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and home health services. She has a wide range of experience working with a variety of medical conditions and acuity levels. She began driving training in 2022 and found great joy in helping people on their road to recovery by gaining independence behind the wheel. She has a passion for helping drivers understand and improve their driving skills, gain driving confidence after a medical change, or return to driving after an injury. She works with clients, their families, and health professionals to collaborate the safest options and explore community transportation alternatives if driving retirement is recommended.

Lindsey is a licensed Occupational Therapist (MOTR/L) with specialized expertise as a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist. She is a Rapid City native and has worked in the clinic setting for over 16 years with 3 of those years helping individuals regain confidence behind the wheel. Lindsey is passionate about enhancing mobility and promoting safety for clients with physical, cognitive, and sensory impairments.
Lindsey obtained a Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Wyoming studying Kinesiology and Sports Medicine followed by a Master of Sciences in Occupational Therapy at the University of North Dakota. She completed coursework through Adaptive Mobility Services Part 1: Driving Risk Assessment training, and Part 2: OT Driver Rehabilitation Specialist. She is an active member of ADED (The Association for Driving Rehabilitation Specialists). After working in skilled nursing, pediatrics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient services, she found her greatest joy in the final stages of recovery with the return to driving. As a Driving Rehab Specialist, Lindsey works closely with clients to assess their abilities, tailor interventions, and provide necessary modifications to ensure their driving skills meet safety standards and state requirements.
In addition to hands-on driving evaluations, Lindsey educates families and caregivers about safe driving practices and strategies for managing the challenges of driving with different abilities. Lindsey is dedicated to empowering clients to live independently and navigate their communities confidently, whether returning to driving after an accident or needing to find new avenues for transportation.
Outside of her professional life, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and pups. She loves to explore all that the Black Hills have to offer and enjoys hiking, skiing, hunting, camping, and golfing. She loves her church family and volunteers with the youth program.
